[HMS Shield Graphic]The Harvard Gene Therapy Initiative
Vector Construction Service

HGTI can do plasmid subcloning as a service for the construction of a new virus. We are currently limiting this service to inserting genes as fragments of plasmids provided by the customer into specific HGTI plasmid vectors, which are also available to laboratories for their own cloning projects. For detailed information on our vectors, please see the Vector Data Resource (text-based) or its graphical interface.

We have used these vectors to construct various reporter gene containing plasmids, and these plasmids are available from our facility to use in virus production. To see a partial list of these plasmids, click here. Other plasmids may also be available; please direct inquiries to Dr. Jeng-Shin Lee.
